Equipment
You don't need any equipment to play this game.
Procedure
Two players (the riddlers) secretly select an ambiguous term. It should have at least two different meanings, like "house" (the building you live in or the music style), "rose" (the flower or the girl's name) or "apple" (the fruit or the company). One player choses one meaning, the other one another. Then, the two players start to make statements about their term:
- A: My term was very expensive
- B: My term used to be on the radio
- A: my term is made from wood
- B: my term is made by thoughts
- A: I don't own my term, but my partens do
- B: I own a lot of examples of my term
and so on.
The other players guess what common term both players might think about. Of course, the two players will not want to make it too easy for the participants. They will start with very vague descriptions, and only after some time give more and more hints about the nature of the term.
