Jester and King (or: beehive) is a Dodgeball game for two groups.
Equipment
You need a soft ball and probably markers for the borders of the playing field.
Procedure
Two groups are formed, they compete each other. Both teams secretly select a king and a jester.
The teams are standing on their area of the playing field (no member may step into the other team's area, of course). Then, the teams try to hit each other by throwing the ball. When any member of a team is hit (and the ball drops to the floor afterwards), this player is out of the game. Of course, you can adapt the rules to your needs to ensure a good but secure game (for instance, nobody may target an opponent's head).
When the jester is hit, nothing happens. The jester is immune to the ball. On the other hand, when the king is shot, the team loses. So, in the end, the jester tries to cover the king. A good team tries to hide the identities of both king and jester as long as possible, to make it harder for the opposing team to win the game.
