Fruit salad is a simple game for groups sitting in a circle. It is a prominent variation of the game swap positions.
Equipment
- you need several chairs (one less than participants)
Procedure
The players are sitting in a circle on their chairs. One player is standing in the center of the circle. All players get assigned names of fruit (always, several players get the same name). Apples, peas, peaches, bananas, cherries, chose whatever you like.
The player in the center may then call the name of one of the fruits. All players of that fruit have to switch their seating positions. The player of the center tries to gather one of their seats. One player will remain without a seating position - he is the new one standing in the middle.
Instead of the names of the fruits, the player in the center can also shout "fruit salad". Then, all players have to swap places.
