Jukebox is a game for groups of any size. The participants have to sing a lot of songs during this game.

Equipment

You don't need any equipment for that game.

Procedure

The players are split into several groups, sitting together. Additionally, you need a jury of several players.

The referee is standing in the middle. He points at any one of the groups. This group then has to start singing ANY song together. After a short time (the jury should have recognized the song and acknowledged the validity) the referee points to another group, that again has to start singing. Of course, no song may be repeated by any group.

When a group cannot sing a song, does sing a song that was already sung (by them or by another group) or fails to sing a song that "most" players of the group know is out of the game. The jury is here to decide whether a song is validly sung or not.

Variations

  • the referee can also call the groups in a defined order instead of "randomly"
  • with rather good groups, you might want to add that one group may not sing two song of the same author/interpret immediately after the other
