Oxford Cambridge is a simple game, a challenge for two or more participating teams. It is based on the annual rowing championship of the two universities ("boat race").
Equipment
You don't need any equipment. Depending on the tasks, the teams might try and get some equipment - it is their job to find it, not your's!
Procedure
The participants are split into several groups, typically of 5 to 8 people each.
For each round, the trainers give out a task. Those task should be simple to solve (within 1 to 2 minutes or so). All teams try to solve it at the same time. However, during each round, only one player may actively do something. You have do define in advance if another player has to play each round, if the team may select the player after the task is known, etc.
The first team to solve the task earns one point. After a few tasks, the team with most points wins the game.
Variations
- It is quite easy to adopt this game to any other predefined topic (the game itself or the tasks)
