The wall ball challenge is a coordination game with a ball. It is usually played alone, but can also played as some kind of tournament.
Equipment
To play the game you only need two things:
- a ball
- a wall
Procedure
This game challenges the player to do the following: a ball is thrown against a wall, bounces back and is caught again. While the ball is in the air different additional tasks (simple movements) have to be done. When the ball is not caught and the ball drops to the floor, the player has to start all over again. How long does it take until the whole task is completed correctly?
The ball is thrown 10 times, then 9 times, then 8 times, and so forth, until finally it is thrown only once. During each series, a certain task has to be made:
- ten times: no additional task
- nine times: clap your hands once while the ball is in the air
- eight times: clap your hands two times while the ball is in the air
- seven times: clap your hands three times while the ball is in the air
- six times: throw the ball with your right hand behind your body and then against the wall
- five times: throw the ball with your left hand behind your body and then against the wall
- four times: throw the ball from below your right leg
- three times: throw the ball from below your left leg
- two times: jump in the air once
- one time: you have to spin around once
You can also change the tasks; chose whatever you like. But of course, the tasks should become harder later in the game.
